Womens Day Dolphin Celebration - Succulent Wild Woman

09 – 13 AUGUST 2006

This woman’s day, join Susan Muttitt and Tanja Taljaard in a complete celebration of womanhood; a bliss-filled ocean retreat to the warm tropical waters of Southern Mozambique to swim with WILD Bottlenose dolphins and to dance to your heart’s content during daily NIA & Belly Dancing gatherings.

NIA IS LIKE CHOCOLATE… YOU HAVE TO TASTE IT

Nia is a Body-mind-spirit fitness program. It is a form of fusion fitness, blending martial arts, healing arts, dance arts and self-healing to create a high-powered, synergistic workout that will not only keep you in fantastic shape, but will also help you to rediscover the joy of movement and being at home in your body. Rich in diversity in both music and movement, Nia addresses the whole person through integration, play and sensory awareness
Nia includes the stillness and the concentration of Tai-Chi, the dynamic poses of Yoga, the explosive power of martial arts and the grace and spontaneity of modern and ethnic dance which makes it a fun way to get and stay fit. Fitness, health, well-being and self love naturally result from the magnetic Nia experience.

Having said all this, Nia is like chocolate; you can’t describe it – you have to taste it.

Susan Muttitt – Has been teaching Nia for 3 years and prior to that, teaching Hatha Yoga since 2000. Susan elegantly combines Mind / Body awareness & the stillness of Yoga with her love for Dance (jazz, ballet, belly-dancing, Latino & modern dance) in her classes. Come and enjoy letting go of your inhibitions. Heal yourself as you find different ways of moving in a fun class and in your life.

SUCCELENCE IN YOUR BELLY …

Discover again… and enjoy your beauty and grace as a woman in your dance. Belly dancing in its original form was a dance FOR WOMAN, BY WOMAN. This woman’s day, celebrate in dance with Tanja as she gently reminds you of your inner rhythm and your succulence!

Tanja Taljaard – Has been working as a dolphin swim-facilitator with Halo Gaia for the past 2 and half years. As a qualified Nia instructor, Belly dance teacher and Kahuna Masseur, Tanja is one of our most dynamic and versatile facilitators, weaving her talents of dance and her connection to the dolphins into a graceful bridge for our participants to access these gifts within themselves.

Wild Inshore Bottlenose dolphins – Our communion with the dolphins of Southern Mozambique over the past 5 years has produced some extraordinary wonders. The encounters are often up close and very personal, with eye to eye communication and intimate twirling dances… Just you and a wild dolphin in the Big Blue! If you have always imagined this for yourself, now is the perfect time to explore the world of the dolphin with us.
